These terms govern your use of and purchases from the PEPHUB website. By using the website or placing an order, you confirm that you have read and agree to them.

Definitions and operator

“PEPHUB”, “we”, or “us” means PEPHUB online store. “The customer” or “you” means anyone who uses the website or places an order through it.

Eligibility

  • You must be 21 or older to use the website and buy from it.
  • You confirm that you are buying the products for in vitro laboratory research only, in line with the Research use policy.
  • You are responsible for making sure that buying, holding, and using the products is permitted under the rules that apply to you and your organisation.

Nature of the products

All products listed are research materials for laboratory use only. They are not medicines, food supplements, or cosmetics, and they are not intended for human or veterinary use, or for diagnosing, treating, or preventing any disease. Information published on the website is for scientific and reference purposes only and is not medical advice.

Orders and confirmation

  • An order you place is an offer to buy. The contract is only complete once we confirm the order with you.
  • We contact you by phone or WhatsApp to confirm the order before shipping, and the order may be cancelled if we cannot reach you.
  • We may refuse or cancel any order before shipping, including when a product is unavailable, there is an obvious error in the price or details, or we suspect a breach of the Research use policy or fraud. If you have paid any amount, we refund it in full.

Prices and payment

  • Prices are shown in UAE dirhams. The final amount, including delivery fees and any applicable tax, is shown on the checkout page before you confirm.
  • The payment methods currently available are cash or bank transfer on delivery, with no advance payment.
  • Discounts and offers apply under their published terms at the time of the order, and cannot be combined unless stated.

Delivery and receipt

We deliver within the UAE according to the fees and times shown on the “Shipping & delivery” page. Responsibility for the products passes to you on receipt, and we recommend checking the parcel when you receive it. If confirmed orders are repeatedly refused without a valid reason, we may stop accepting cash-on-delivery orders from you.

Exchanges and returns

Exchange and return requests are subject to the Exchange & returns policy published on the website, without prejudice to your rights under the Consumer Protection Law.

Acceptable use of the website

You agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose, attempt unauthorised access to its systems, enter false information, or resell the products for purposes that breach the Research use policy.

Intellectual property

All website content, including text, images, designs, logos, and the PEPHUB brand, is owned by or licensed to us, and may not be copied or used commercially without prior written permission.

Limitation of liability

We are not liable for any damage resulting from using the products in breach of the Research use policy or instructions, or from improper storage after delivery. In all cases, and to the extent permitted by law, our liability does not exceed the value of the order concerned. This clause does not affect any rights you have under the law that cannot be waived by agreement.

Electronic transactions

You agree that orders, correspondence, and confirmations made electronically through the website, WhatsApp, or email have the legal standing of electronic transactions under the laws applicable in the UAE.

Changes to the terms

We may amend these terms from time to time. The version published when you place an order applies to that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the UAE courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
