Glutathione is a tripeptide made of three amino acids: glutamate, cysteine, and glycine. It occurs naturally in most living cells and is one of the most important intracellular antioxidants, thanks to the thiol (SH) group in cysteine.
It belongs to Cellular Energy & Longevity and Skin & Cosmetic Research, and is used in laboratory studies on oxidative stress and intracellular redox balance.
