NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in every living cell. It carries electrons in the redox reactions linked to energy production, and is also an essential substrate for enzymes such as sirtuins and PARP.
NAD+ is not a peptide but a dinucleotide. It belongs to Cellular Energy & Longevity and is used in laboratory studies on cellular metabolism and mitochondrial function.
- Form: lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder in a sealed Vial.
- Strength: 500 mg per Vial.
- Preparation: requires laboratory reconstitution, usually with bacteriostatic water (Bac Water) from Research Supplies.
- Storage: before reconstitution, keep the sealed Vial refrigerated (2–8°C), away from light and moisture; for long-term storage, freeze at -20°C. After reconstitution, keep it refrigerated and avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
